The sealing is warranted by our EasyFoam stoppers. These are delivered with the box in the correspondent size. When the cables have been laid holes are cut out of the stopper for the cables to run through. A conventional carpet cutter may be used for this. It is recommendable to cut the stoppers a little larger so that they will be fixed in the opening slightly compressed after. Any other openings left in the edges or between the cables are sealed with a permanently elastic sealing material such as silicone, acrylic or our EasyFoam mounting foam. When many cables have been laid we recommend to use our mounting foam because working with a silicone cartridge would take too much time.

Subsequent sealing

If cable boxes have to be sealed subsequently and there are no stoppers left the material can be reordered in plates of 30x50cm.
