On the one hand, this foam is used to seal the face sides of a box when big amounts of cables are penetrated. On the other hand it is used for EasyFoam boxes installed in ceilings. As an alternative PUR logic Easy polyurethane foam may be used instead.

Both cans can provide more than 28 litres of foam and have quite a manageable foaming behavoiur. Consequently they are easy to handle.

When the foam is used to install cable boxes the reveal should be dampted in order to accel the curing process and to warrant a smooth foam structure.

Polyurethane foam has a good fire behaviour, but though it cannot be used as an outright fire stopper on its own. We recommend our 2K Silicone Fire Stop Foam for that purpose.
